Who do I put as reference , I don't want to ask at work and it isn't clear

Been working for a largish company for 6 months, want to leave as I am being micromanaged amongst other things

I have only known my team leader for 2 months . Do I have to put her as my referee? It is mainly because of her that I want to leave.

Or am I able to put the hr department of the business?

Put HR. They’ll likely just confirm the dates you were employed - there won’t be anything about your character. Your new company is unlikely to contact them until you’ve accepted an offer.
