What career would you change to…

What career would you change to if you had 20 years experience in social care/support work? Mostly care/support planning/ reviews and most recently home care. I purposely took a job in home care as I felt I needed a low output job… I get bored or complacent in the same job with no ladders to climb and my previous job was working with domestic abuse which really burned me due to the amount of cases I had which were all traumatic/high risk.
i just really want to change careers and get out of care/support work but also need a decent paying job that will offer development and growth/ new roles etc.
I have no idea whether to retrain at 44, if so what would I retrain in and I kind of feel that I have not much to offer, esp when I see job descriptions and they are so far out of my scope of experience. I feel old and unemployable now

Try the police, OP? They do have civilian victim support, safeguarding and other roles now and again.
Otherwise, I'd get my FGAS qualification to fit air conditioners if I was starting out again, as I reckon this is going to be big business.
