Favouritism

My boss has employed friends of his and they get the best tasks …I’m really pissed off as I’ve worked her for 20+ years I know if I say anything my boss will make my life harder it’s horrible to see the smug faces on the friends that get the best I work hard I’m one of the hardest workers there it counts for nothing

That is annoying. I know my boss has tavourites...one of the reasons im moving on but also inevitable in work sadly.

Wish I could but its getting the hours and holidays elsewhere I'm lucky with mine I do want out though because of this ...its totally unprofessional

Infuriating and so unprofessional! What can you do...maybe just have to hope his attitude will cause some kind of mis-step in judgement

Thanks for your reply I’m hoping so …I hope it’s a matter of time before one of the favourites pisses him off I’m a big believer in Karma too but the situation at work is dire and it’s cringy to see they all put pics on fb when there on a social night out or around each others houses UNPROFESSIONAL

Maybe continue to be professional but just stop working so hard. It's not worth it, save your energy to enjoy life and try to list 3 things you will accomplish each day and ask your boss what their objectives are in appraisal.
