Company offers 2 WFH days, when do I ask for 3?

I have an interview for a job I really want tomorrow. It says in their ad staff can WFH 2 days a week. The job is in London and I live 1h15 by train away (2h door to door), so what I'd like to propose is I WFH 3 days a week: I have somewhere to bed down in London, so it means rather than have an actual commute I would only need to do one return trip a week (instead of two).

I really don't want to sound cheeky though :-/

I think I have a solid argument for this because I've been self employed in this field for 20 years now (in other words I've got a damn good home office set up and have a proven track record of getting on with the job/not skiving).

Should I bring this up at interview? Or if an offer is made?

I’d wait for an offer tbh. Depends on your industry but a lot of companies have mandated people come back for a certain amount of days and want to reverse the WFH trend
