First time team manager…. Tips!

Hi all,
I am being promoted from within my team to the team manager and also joining the company leadership team. I have line managed briefly previously but only for 1 or 2 people. This time it’s the full team of 8 employees (so not huge - but enough!) Team is diverse in age and experience, mostly male (it’s a male dominated industry in the main)

I feel ready for this step, but I am keen to get some tips / advice from people that have made this kind of move. (Esp from WITHIN the team they will manage)

hit me with your best tips and also any book/ biographies that make for useful or interesting reading!
