CoHE or NVQ to work in nursery

Hi,
I am looking at a career change and hoping to go into childcare (specifically a nursery setting).

I have a certificate of higher education awarded for completing 1 year of a BEd in primary education back in 2010. From good old google I know that is equivalent to a lvl 4 NVQ but does that actually mean anything!?!

Could it go towards fast tracking an NVQ or does it mean I basically already have enough qualifications to work in a setting and be included in the staff ratios etc.

if anyone has any knowledge or experience on this so would be massively grateful for any advice 🙏🏻
