NHS shortlisting time frame- advice please

I applied for a clinical job in the NHS recently. The closing date was 2 weeks ago and I've not heard from them. Should I just assume that I've not been shortlisted, or is this typical in the NHS to wait 2 weeks + to hear if you've got an interview?
Thanks.

You are meant to shortlist within a week( good practice) and sometimes the advert will say something like" if you have not heard within 2 weeks, assume you have not been shortlisted" however, I had an experience where I asked for a job in early December and was invited to interview in Feb!!

Thanks for the reply @@vdbfamily - it's reassuring to hear your experience. I'm not naive to the workings of the NHS, but i had hoped to hear something by now.

I applied for an NHS job that closed on the 23rd of February and was invited for an interview on the 13th of March

Thanks everyone. I suppose it will vary everywhere. I might ring HR next week to ask.

Did you apply via trac jobs? It usually says on there if you've been shortlisted or not

I applied for a job that closed in early January, waited 3 weeks then assumed I was unsuccessful. Got an interview invite last week for a date in April! Recruitment freeze meant they had to sit on their hands but didn't want to turn anyone away.

Thank you - you're giving me some hope!
I've gone back and logged into TRAC but when i click the link for an update to my application, it gives the hospital postal address & then the phone number for HR. All a bit outdated - i expected at least an email address. I will ring them this week to ask.
