I have applied for my first expression of interest with the civil service . This is for a role in my team ( team leader ) . It is most likely going to be decided just by application . Does any one know how long it takes for these to come back ? Any experiences welcome.

In my department, EoI’s are usually turned around pretty quickly. Is it just sift or going to interview?

EOI’s are normally really quick, when my husband done his I’m sure he had heard within 2 weeks. He also was hired at sift and didn’t need to do an interview.

ive know the recruiting team/manager to also keep a reserve list so it they come back initially as a No, if it's a role that needs more than one person, you may find they get back to you at another time,

A couple of days when I did it. Presumably it’s your current boss deciding? Can’t you just ask?
