Ideas for work that is totally flexible.

Looking to retire shortly but would still like to earn a little money. Ideally would like something I can do around travel and family commitments. Does anyone have any ideas.

Delivery job, pet sitting, exam invigilation, council minute taker, temp agency?

I don't know what your background is but is there an opportunity for temping work? If so you could pick up a week's work a few times a year when it suits you

I used to be a clerk to governors employed by the council. I was assigned to a school but set the meeting dates myself and if I wanted to go on holiday they'd get cover. Lots of opportunities for cover work too all over the borough. It's an interesting job but pay isn't great. It suited my circumstances at the time. Mainly evening work though. The meetings were at the school but everything else done at home. I think a lot of schools have virtual meetings now.
