Anyone else starting a new job tomorrow? Very scared ... need some wise words!!!

Try to remember the pressure on them not you. You’ve been appointed because you fit the bill. Be on time, smile and be enthusiastic. Good luck!

OP nerves are normal. They didn't give you the job as a favour. They gave u the job because they wanted u. Hope it goes well.

I'm starting my new job tomorrow as well! I'm a bit nervous which is absolutely normal, but I'm really excited as well. I bet you will be absolutely fine in your new job - ask lots of questions, leave yourself plenty of time to get there, and don't be too frustrated if the IT isn't up and running immediately! Remember, they are excited about you starting as well, they hired you because they could see your worth, so go in there and show them what a good decision they made 😊

I'm starting a new job tomorrow, currently deciding what to wear to look professional but not too old fashioned. I'm a little nervous too

Me! I start a new job tomorrow - an internal move so don't have to worry about a new organisation or IT but still feeling a bit nervous as well as excited.

My plan is to take it slow, listen and be kind to myself as it's all new and I'm learning.

Starting a new job this week too! I'm going to spend tomorrow giving myself a bit of a pep talk, ironing some smart clothes and watching crap tv to take my mind off it. Feeling very anxious!
