FTC and Annual Leave Entitlement

I'm hoping someone with some expert knowledge of employment law might be able to help.

My current contract at work is due to end on 30th August, our holiday year starts from 1st April and I'm entitled to 27 days plus bank holidays.

In our system at work, I've been allocated a whole year's worth of annual leave, so I asked HR for clarification on how much I should be entitled to up until the end of my contract. They initially came back and said 2.25 days per month however when I've asked for a definitive amount, they've said it'll be 9 days because August isn't a full month (one day short which happens to be a Sunday) that I won't accrue any holiday for that month at all!

I've done a calculation on gov.uk and it says that I'm entitled to more than what my company are offering but I want to be sure before I go back to them and question it, that what they are proposing is unfair and potentially illegal as it doesn't meet the statutory requirement which gov.uk recommends.

Is anyone able to provide any advice please?

Send them the link to the website and ask how they got their figures

I was going to do this but didn't want them to then say that they will count the bank holidays towards it.

My line manager has already said not to worry as I'll be made permanent but it already is raising a few red flags.
