Returning to work after mat leave

I am due to go back to work at the end of May following maternity leave, but really don't want to!
As I was entitled to enhanced maternity pay from my workplace I have to return for at least 3 months otherwise I will need to pay the enhanced portion of my maternity pay back.
As I built up A/L during my Mat leave, the least 6 weeks before I go back to work are actually annual leave.
Can these 6 weeks count towards the 3 months that my work expect me to return for, thus reducing the amount of money I would need to repay?
Any advise would be helpful!
Thank you

You will need to check with your handbook/EMP policy/employer. Public sector is usually much more transparent with this kind of thing but a private company could have a number of restrictions on their enhanced maternity pay policy.
