Six figure salaries

Have seen a few posts recently where someone or a couple both earn six-figure salaries. In mine and my husband's industries it is only very top managers, usually aged 50+, who earn that much. Just wondering what jobs these are where those are the salaries of people in their 30s?

My boss earns £170k. She's head of a very small charity, but she (her skills) comes from a previous job as headteacher of a large (and successful) secondary school.

In London most head teachers earn £100k + and outside London secondary heads do.

@ab03 DD is a barrister. Was earning 6 figures before 30. City lawyers are there in mid 20s immediately after qualification! Ditto many in finance and management consultancy. People who start their own companies often earn well if they are good at what they do and know how to run a business! So find that entrepreneurial spirit!

Many high paying careers have high earnings before 50. Certainly in addition to the above, advertising, doctors who are consultants, dentists, civil servants at the highest level, tv execs, sales, IT: lots of people! But you have to be good!
