Hello..I had my interview on the 22nd(Thu), Verbally offered the position on the 23rd(Friday) and was asked to send ID and address proof. I haven't received any written offer/conditional offer until now and i'm feeling a bit anxious. Would it be okay to give them a call or maybe send an email today for an update or would that be too soon?

Things take a while to process so given there's only been 2 working days since you received the offer it's probably a bit soon to panic. However, it would make you feel better then a quick follow up call to check they've got everything they need won't do any harm at all

I didn't receive mine for over a week nearer 2 weeks. The NHS on boarding system is very slow. Once you receive the conditional offer uf you need a DBS it will require you to book an appointment with the local DVS manager then the DBS process it's self.

I was offered my roll start of January and my start date is 4th March so that gives you an idea of how long it can take.

Well done on the new role!

My interview was on 14/08/2024 Wednesday, they called me on the same day and informed me that I'm successful and you'll get offer letter by the end of of weekend Friday, but nothing received then I called on Friday 16/08/2024 they said on Monday 19/08/2024 but got nothing then I email to recruitment advisor through trac interview invitation email and I received call in evening on 21/08/2024 and she was very rude that why you sent me email and asked that when you'll get response, interview panel has not instructed us yet to give you offer I told her that I am not asking offer from you I just told you my interview is successful because I have got a call from one of the panel member but she was still rude so I apologised and drop the call then she sent me email and said you have not been offered place formally because interview panel has not decided yet. This experience is really disappointing from an organisation such as NHS. Still today 23/08/2024 I have not got offer letter from the hospital. I hope for the best.
