Dealing with rejection

Any tips for forgetting and moving on? The rejection really plays on my mental health and feels extremely personal. The hiring processes now seem very long winded and a lot of time and effort. Everywhere seems to want me to prepare presentations, tasks and practically write full essays for them. I feel so disheartened ☹️

It depends on the kind of posts you are applying for, surely? Presentations, tasks etc would be quite normal for a post like mine. But the pay for my post isn't at all "average". And competition is huge. What are you applying for? How far are tou getting? And are you getting feedback?

OP this was me a month ago. I actually wrote a very similar post. I have no advice at all, just stick in there, the right job will come through for you - it did for me!

Try try again, I know it's a cliche but it's something else for your mind to focus on rather than the recent rejection. Also it's not personal, the job market is hard right now.
