50s job seeker and recruitment agencies

Recently lost my job and now at the latter end of my 50s having to look for another.

I contacted several recruitment agencies last week, had a couple of calls with them to discuss what I'm looking for now etc. (fyi, my background is PA/EA/Office Manager/Administator) and despite telling one of them that I really now prefer a backroom PA/Admin job, rather than a frontline high energy EA role, she keeps sending me JDs for these totally full-on EA positions which I would have considered 20 years ago, but definitely not now - no energy, no interest - I burnt out in my last EA role! How do I politely tell her to stop sending me these types of roles without her giving up on me so soon?

Any suggestions please?

Skills are in short supply. She sends you for roles that she has on her books, that will make her the most money, that she knows you can do.

All you can do is keep emphasising that you want a lower responsibility role.

I think there are fewer lower skilled/ low stress admin jobs now, as tech has taken over. Agree with PP that she’s probably just sending you the jobs she has that you’re qualified for.
