I work in a high pressure high flying industry, so for people to want to push themselves or do well is expected. What is not expected is people who are crazy competitive and willing to throw you under the bus for anything. Even colleagues who you got along with socially.
It’s always the ones who on paper don’t quite meet the mark either!
