i hope your first day back goes well, hopefully you have a phased return to work organised ( legally you can phase back in over a 12 week period ) .
it is such a big thing returning to work, but in a few weeks you will be settled into a new routine your girls will have settled to their new norm.
funny but now I go to work and work hard but in some ways it's a rest, just pace yourself at work , I used to always be the come in early work late not take a break type ... that had to change as sleep deprivation and not really getting down time at home will impact so make sure you don't over do it .

I am back properly today too since having my girl in June. I have done 4 KiT days since January though. I was so nervous the night before my first one! After an hour at work, I was absolutely fine my worries washed away. Of course a few things kept arising (issues to deal with when I properly return) which made me nervous but I do have the support of my bosses which I think is the main thing. Hopefully you have that too. I'm leaving in about an hour and I'm a little excited as well as nervous to be honest! We can do this Smile

I felt like this when I returned to work 6 months ago. 6 months on, the toddler tantrums have started and I love handing her over to nursery to give myself a break 😃

An 18 month old is very different to a 12 month old. Hang in there, it gets easier.

Hey a lot of people said that it's like a break going to work but you probably work harder just some time away from the kids. I will have to be take it easy when going back because it's a physical job & on my feet all day.
