Question for care home staff

Question for care home nurses - can I work bank shifts at two different care homes (run by different companies). I currently work bank shifts at one but I am looking to get a few more shifts by working at another one as well. Is this allowed?

I don't see why not as you would just turn one down if the shifts clash. They wouldn't really have to know you're working at both.

Yes. You can work for two companies as long as you can fill your contracted days/hours with both. I’ve actually used that as a lie before, when I’m asked to do a ridiculous amount of cover I don’t want to so I’ll just say I can’t, I’m at my second job. They can’t argue with that

I'd double check your contract that it doesn't say anything about "conflict of interests"
