Work/ Anxiety related.... Interview SOS

Hi Netters!
Would really appreciate some advice/insight here... I've tried to be as coherent as possible!
Is it worth going to a job interview for a job you don't want ?
In a bit of an anxiety puddle right now.... I'm supposed to be going for a face to face interview with a lovely family later on for a nannying job, I've already spoken to them on the phone and they seem really nice and were very friendly/ open during the phone calls (parents are separated so I had 1 call with mum 1 call with dad).
I've thought about the job a bit more since speaking to them on the phone and also interviewing with other families in the last few days and I don't think this job is the right fit for me (mainly due to the hours and location compared to other jobs I've been applying/interviewed for). I have been booked in for a trial shift next week so don't want to wait too late before withdrawing...
Sorry if this sounds messy! Ultimately I'm just an anxious gal....
Any advice/insight/good vibes would be appreciated.
HAVE A NICE DAY <3

Hi there

If you know that you do not want the job and would not accept it - then it would be better for you and the family to politely withdraw and don't go. All you have to say is "thank you for considering me, but I am withdrawing." You don't have to explain why but you can add something if you prefer. Just don't make something up - if you have finalised things with another family then you could say that but if it's just that the hours/ distance etc don't work for you then you can say that instead.

Thank you! I guess I was worried I'd feel bad about it being so last minute, thank you for your advice!!!!
