like most young people, I just feel very disillusioned with the UK and it's expensive, I don't feel like you can thrive, unless you earn a lot and I don't want to switch careers as I love my job, but I don't want to live in the UK. Housing is expensive, wage stagnation the list goes on. I am aware, other countries have these problems, but it seems that the UK is particularly suffering.
A lot of my friends have left the UK and to go to other countries, but they're not in the same sector as me. I'm wondering if anyone who has a career in policy and public affairs has moved abroad, and if so to what country to give some advice. I don't want to do Dubai but open to most other places and I'm open to moving within five years so having to learn a language better. My French is okay
