New job pay date advice (civil service)

Hi I start a new job with the DWP (civil Service) on Monday. Will I be paid at the end of February or do you think I'll have to wait until March to be paid? Thanks

I would expect to be paid at the end of February unless they have a particularly early pay date. I'd check with my manager/payroll though because you don't want to get lost in the paperwork and miss payroll cut off.

In my organisation I worked in before where I worked with payroll we would have given you a manual advance in February if you'd somehow missed payroll cut off.

You will be paid on the last working day of February (assuming they follow usual civil service rules). So long as you start before the pay roll run cut off (usually 10/11th of the month) you will be paid at the end of your first month worked.
