Desperate to change career!! Any tips?

Has anyone changed careers after having children and have any tips for how to find something new that is still flexible with being a mum? I have 2 DC 5&2 and currently work part-time in marketing. The job is remote so I can work from home and around my childcare, which is obviously very convenient, I do 24 hours across 4 days. But I am so so miserable. I have worked in marketing for over a decade now, but since having DCs I feel like I have completely lost my mojo. The people I manage are honestly miles more knowledgeable than me, and I constantly feel like I'm out my depth. I am desperate to try something else. I would love to train to be a psychotherapist, however we need my income so I can't really afford to go back to university. Yet the thought of staying where I am any longer is genuinely making me feel depressed 😔 the final straw has been my boss has told me I need to run a 4 day event across the country in May. It might sound daft but I can't bear the thought of being away from DCs that long. Any advice on changing careers after having children?

Psychotherapy is a saturated market and difficult to make a living from.

There's a retraining board, but you might be better off finding a way to make your existing skillset and experience work better for you than chucking it away to start from scratch.
