I was just browsing and came across this job description. It sounds interesting.

I was surprised at the pay rate.

Would anyone like to speculate? Just for interest.

It is based in East Anglia in a fairly nice market town.

Say what?

Blanketenvy · 22/01/2024 21:26

25k ish? These roles don't pay a lot usually, which is unfortunate because they can be demanding and need skilled people to be able to deliver these services properly.

I can see the hourly rate on your picture

NYNMY · 22/01/2024 21:29

£11.14-£14.12 p/h?

LIZS · 22/01/2024 21:29

25-30k . Charity jobs are usually pretty poorly paid.

I can see that I didn’t properly obscure the pay rate.

I was pretty surprised that they wanted all of that and shifts for just over minimum wage.

As it’s a contract role it should be higher. I would expect £20 per hour minimum

Yes that pay is about right for this line of work, charities usually pay slightly more than non charity organisations doing the same thing.
