Hi I work in a small team my boss my self and a lady who is the administrator. I will call her Sarah.

Sarah is ok seemed like a nice lady. Our boss is a soft kind man and I think this his first roll managing. I'm pretty easy to manage I love my job and just get on.

Sarah on the other hand talks bad about every one. If o say postive stuff to my boss in conversation she mocks me.

She didn't do aload of work on a project that was due and I ended up having to do it for her, I didn't want it but my boss needed help.

Then she turned in late a few times last week but clocked her hours full. Our manager asked her politely (not in front of me) to be mindful of it,

Then she goes in to a really passive aggressive mood so I feel so uncomfortable I don't no how to react so I stay quite. I've only being with this company for 6 months and it's hard sharing an office.

Then once she is out of her mood she is nice as pie and acts like she hasn't just blocked me out for the whole day.

How do I deal with this I'm dreading going in to work tomorrow

You can't really 'deal' with her, she is how she is.

But you can deal with your boss and remind him it's not fair to put the extra work on you.

If it keeps happening, ask for a meeting and make your feelings clear.

I spoke to my boss about this and he isn't really helpful. I was a manager in my previous job and a good one. She is very disrespectful made a point of telling me I won't be telling her what to do because I was a manager in previous role. (Which I would never do I took advisor role to get in to industry but I'm not that type of person I just work hard try do my best) she has the massive chip on her shoulder.
I think he is scared of upsetting her but she doesn't really do much work.

Some days I try talk to her and she just blanks me. She will mock boss in front of me and I have to stop my self. Sunday night dreading going in because I hate the atmosphere,
I get what you mean I can't deal with her. If I chat to people she instantly slags them off when the leave the office. Aww it's so demoralising
