Looking for some Mumsnet wisdom.
I've worked in the private sector for over 20 years, in a field closely related to the public sector role I'm currently in (been in current role for over 3 years now).
An opportunity to progress has come up and I have an interview in the next few weeks, but imposter syndrome is kicking my ass.
The role is perfect for me, the role description basically mirrors everything I'm doing anyway, just a bit more responsibility (I'm at team management level presently).
Any top tips? It's a middle management role so nothing too high flying, I plan to use the STAR interview method, prepping examples based on the competencies in the JD, focusing on results (not just numbers but staff development, better business practices, efficiencies etc).
TIA
