I am getting hassled by a girl from work. I work in the office and she works in the warehouse. She keeps reporting me for no reason 4 times i have been called in by management and they have done investigations checked cameras and witnesses etc. I have been found innocent. It goes in a circle who she reports its me then she reports a guy for being drunk they test him and he is not drunk. Or she is racist to a girl then reports the girl making lies up. I have tried to raise a grievance but the manager slammed his fist on the table and was ranting. She gets away with everything she got told to use the warehouse canteen but she just comes in the office canteen every time I am on break. She even accused me of bashing her phone out of her hand and there was me a colleague and they checked the cameras it never happened. She is on the agency.

I have even put letters in to HR about this but the letters vanish and HR say they have not had them.

Polish up your CV and leave but ….
would they want that?

I expect they are paying high agency fees so who do they want, her or you? Surely a reputable agency would ship her out and replace her?

In their shoes surely it’s better to get rid of this trouble maker and keep you?

If she is in the warehouse and you in the office, why do you have to go or be anywhere near her? If you do cross her path, make sure there are always witnesses nearby. Set up “record” on your phone if you have to speak to her. Otherwise stay away from her!

It all sounds a bit strange,

Have you not posted this before about someone you dated in work ?

RILEYM1982 · 07/01/2024 11:59

I apologise if I have I am still getting the hassle as other staff members are getting this from her management keep protecting her as she can do no wrong. She goes in cycles its me she reports then its a guy for being drunk when he is not as he gets tested. then its a girl she is being racist to then back to me.

The company told me they do not want to lose me as they have put a lot of time and investment into training me up.
I keep saying i cannot take the pick sheets out for the warehouse to pick or get us paper from the warehouse as she keeps making allegation's up about me.

Sounds like she’s got something against someone in management so they don’t want to sack her for fear of their secret coming out

TheCatterall · 07/01/2024 12:11

Email hr with a record of all the false allegations she’s made against you and how you deem it as harrasment and malicious acts. Keep a log of everything she does to you and anything you witness she does to others.

id email the hr agent, HR manager etc. have you a union in the work place?

Id also state that you have previously delivered complaints to hr about this but that they have gone missing. Include the dates you sent them and the method/who dealt with them.

the manager being aggressive in a meeting - I’d keep a note if that as well. Physical shows of aggression like that in the workplace are intimidating and I’d keep a record. Were hr present when he did that?

what do others in the workplace feel about this worker. Maybe you can band together and all approach HR together with a joint complaint.

Dryupyourdesertwithtears · 07/01/2024 12:18

Just to post an alternate view, she could have a mental illness. I used to work with someone and I thought we got on ok, I was then called in to speak to my manager who said this colleague has accused me of filming him in his bedroom when he is doing private things and I'm now circulating the video. I was completely aghast. My manager luckily believed me, and had to put in precautions to keep me safe. He also had to protect the other employee who was very distressed that no one was taking him seriously, he would fly off the handle if he took something the wrong way (someone offering him a crisp). It was quite clearly some form of schizophrenia or psychosis. He left in the end but now I work in MH I see similar patterns of paranoia and accusations in some oriole who are very unwell.

RILEYM1982 · 07/01/2024 12:28

Thanks all it means a lot. I am scared to walk around the building if i get asked to as she makes these allegations she is supposed to use the warehouse canteen but she just walks in the office canteen when I am on break everytime i am on break.

OP this is awful!

Accusing you of violence where the video evidence proves otherwise should have been an instead dismissal for her.

I'm very surprised you wrote a letter to HR not an email. Does anyone wrote letters in work anymore?

Anyway if this is real, I suggest you email HR and inform them if this harassment continues that you have no choice but to report it to the police.

RILEYM1982 · 07/01/2024 13:05

I promise this is all real she harasses me with allegations then she moves on to another guy saying he is drunk all the time he gets tested he has no alcohol in his system then she moves on to a girl says racist things to a girl and reports the girl saying the girl is saying mean things to her then she goes back reporting me. It is the same three people she alternates every few months.

Yes you've said this about 3 or 4 times now.

You seem to work in a very strange place where allegations are proven false yet the person keeps their job and your manager slams his hands down in anger when you approach them about it.

Are you in a union?
Document everything
Email your grievance you will then have proof of delivery
You could speak with an employ lawyer but it will potentially be expensive. Best to have lots of documented evidence of complaints times and places etc before seeing a lawyer.
If all else fails then seek a new job

Gobolina · 07/01/2024 13:23

Write it all out in a timeline and email to your manager, her manager, HR and her agency if you know/can find out who it is.

I'd give no fucks at this point.

I'd even cc facilities with the suggestion to get code locks on doors and restrict her access to the offices/canteen.

RILEYM1982 · 07/01/2024 16:44

Sorry for being a pain its stressful with this keep going on.
Yet her manager keeps thinking its everyone else. The guy who she keeps accusing of being drunk got a small promotion and every since she reports him. The girl who she is being racist to got taken on full time ever since she reports her. I will email HR head office and if I get called in again I will record the conversation in case her manager rants and behaves aggressive.
