Leaving term time job mid-year

Hi everyone, I’ve just resigned from my term-time job in an independent school, my contract states half a term’s notice so I shall be leaving at Feb half term.

it’s just dawned on me that my pay is spread over 12 months of the year but I only work 35 weeks so 175 days. I’ve done a quick count and I will have worked 98 days by the time I leave. How do I figure out what my employer owes me?

I'm guessing you are support staff, not teaching.
Don't forget you get some paid leave too - probably 2-3 weeks worth, as you will have worked nearly half the year by half term (the date varies - mine is a different week to the kids this year).

@snow Yes, I’m support staff. Hadn’t thought about holiday pay as well. Thank you 😊
