Manager is leaving - gutted

Manager has announced they are leaving the company. we had a tough year last year and have been trying to motivate myself for the year ahead. I am gutted so much so was in tears when they announced it. I’m concerned for who comes next.

What sector do you work in, OP? Is there a specific worry you have about a new manager?

And what's your worry about a new manager?

Have they said why and has that made you nervous? Can you go for the promotion?

We’ve had a lot of changes and this manager has sorted out some real issues we had and this has really helped put the team in a good place. I hope
whatever new manager is able to do the same. I’ve worked for company a short while but have never felt very positive about working there until this manager came along.
