New year new job(hunt)

Is anyone else determined to find a new job in the New Year?

I do a higher level admin job in a school and it is getting to be way too much! So much stress for very mediocre pay (but I obviously get all the school holidays off)!

I have no idea where to begin, but begin I shall. May need to do some training in my spare (ha!) time.

Feeling v motivated (but that's because I am well rested I think)

Following as in exactly the same position. Working in school admin and whilst I love having the holidays off the juice is no longer worth the squeeze and it's not worth it to be miserable for the remaining 40 weeks. Hoping the job market picks up in the new year as not very many suitable other opportunities. Good luck everyone.

Yes, looking as well. I also work in administration, management level in an FE college. I love the college and the people I work with, but the job is stressful. I'm looking, but I'm not hell bent on just anything.
OH is term time too, so it wouldn't matter if I wasn't anymore. Plus the boys are older now, 17 and nearly 11 😊
