Study Apprenticeship and Maternity Leave

I am currently studying a 3 year apprenticeship with my current employer and have recently found out I am 6 weeks pregnant.

Am I allowed to continue my studies during my maternity leave or do I have to put my studies on hold until I return to work, as I know a number of hours of study has to be done during working hours.

Ideally I would continue my studying through my maternity leave so as not to disrupt my learning but Im not sure if this is allowed or if it is down to the discretion of my employer?

Discretion of employer can pause or continue. It depends how much effort it’s going to take and is reasonable

You will have to take a break in learner as you wont be able to document your OJT hours as you wont be at work.
