NHS band 2 interview

I have an nhs receptionist interview in a couple of weeks. I'm so nervous. It's the same job I'm in now but it's a private company. I'm not great at interviews. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've googled band 2 questions and I think I may struggle with them. I'm not really good at selling myself.

In my place, being alive is a bonus!

Well I'm alive so that's hopeful 😂

Look at the trusts website, pay attention to their values. They will most likely ask you a safeguarding question (someone has disclosed something to you) and why you want the job.
Be yourself, stay calm, always take a pass to breath and think before answering!

Good luck!!

Confidentiality
Dealing with an upset/angry/distressed/whatever patient
Health and safety
Trust values
What being in a team means
What would you do if... could be any sort of scenario

Thank you, will definitely check the values. I'll practice all of them. I'm absolutely the worst at interviews but I've always heard NHS interviews are so hard so that's what's going through my head.

For mine I had whats my understanding of confidentiality? Time I showed compassion? What skills and qualities I can bring to the job? How would I deal with an angry patient? Also look on you tube for nhs band 2 interview questions, I found that really helpful :-) good luck x

Trust values. Questions are based on the job description so look through that . Confidentiality, data protection, IT skills, and information governance for a receptionist role . Will usually be asked to give examples eg how you have dealt with conflict/ a difficult situation or customer.

Also opening question in nhs is often tell me a bit about yourself.

Thank you every one. That's really helpful
