I am starting a new role as applications engineer soon, haven't got a start date yet as I'm waiting for the vetting process to be completed.
I haven't been working for the last 6 months as I was made redundant from my previous business analyst role which I was at for 5 years.
How can I best prepare myself for this role before I start it, I know the things I need to learn but just struggling to find the motivation to do it.
