How to tell boss I don't want to work full-time

I'm currently in a part-time role, working 3 days per week. Throughout my career I've always worked full-time and have never been work shy, often working well over my 40 hours in order to complete projects. However, it came at a price as I suffered from extreme anxiety and stress. Since working part-time, I've really enjoyed the time I have available and have been able to concentrate on my physical and mental health, take up new hobbies and spend more time with my family but now a new boss has come on the scene and he's hinting that I might consider working full-time in order to assist the team better.

Although extra money is always useful, we have managed on my part-time salary for some time now and I really feel that my quality of life is far more important.

How to politely advise him that I don't wish to return back to full-time work?

No thank you?

"No thanks, I'm happy with the work/life balance I have currently".

Ignore hints. Managers should be able to formulate a question. If they do ask then I like @AuContraire s response.

Just say no, part time suits your circumstances. Ignore his hints, its not your problem.
