My colleague was purposely not doing her job properly and cutting corners and had been told multiple times not do it but ignored the warnings. I asked IT to modify the system so she would not be able to cut corners but they said I needed to report them to their line manager. I emailed the line manager but emphasised how crucial it was that this information was missing and needed by the organisation. It could not be left and I would have got into trouble for not reporting the issue.
Since then she has given me the silent treatment. She has gone to my supervisor really angry asking who told on her. She has also been delaying customers from joining us and has cost the company thousands in lost revenue. The whole organisation was informed by the monthly staff briefing that this target was really bad with the loss of income which she is responsible for that target.
Yesterday she went to my supervisor trying to get her own back saying why I have not done some filing and said that he needs to tell me off. The filing has not been done for 2 weeks because I have been covering the work for a vacant post in her team. My supervisor told her not to lie and that I do, do the filing as he sees me do it. She is crazy as when I joined the organisation I had to file 2 years worth of documents that were in a cabinet yet she is moaning about 2 weeks which will get done as it is in calendar to do.
She is also annoyed I didn't apply for the vacant position her team. She would have been my line manager but only has 8 months experience in that line of work whereas I have more knowledge and experience of 10 years. Plus she tried to dump her work on me last year when we were in the same team. She would try and get me to do the work as she is struggling to understand this field of work and the organisation targets.
How do I deal with this childish behaviour of her trying to get me into trouble?
