Sabbatical leave

Evening everyone.
Does anyone know if support staff are allowed to request sabbatical leave? I know teachers are, I was wondering if teaching assistants can too? Anyone done it?

Highly unlikely, but sabbaticals are a decision of employers to allow, not law, so you'd have to ask your employer.
