Hello, after an excellent 6 month training and induction period I am flying solo. My role often means I am in the position to challenge when things are not being done correctly. The job is largely focused on education.
I'm still struggling with resilience, I can and do challenge but the pre nerves before a meeting are terrible. Then today I was unprofessionally put on the spot by another professional. Although what they did was wrong and I did follow it up after a discussion with my line manager, I continue to take these things personally. Worrying already about the next meeting and thinking if I can actually do this Job.
Does anyone have any book or podcast recommendations for building resilience? I know it will come in time, in my last role I never took any knocks or doubted my abilities but as this is new to me, I'm more sensitive. Thank you in advance.
