Marketing degree + CIM Qual. Career change!

Hi everyone

I'm looking to re-enter the world of employed work after having kids. Pre kids I was employed in marketing roles and then since kids I've been self employed with a small number of clients. Keen to find something to provide more reliable income so would like to be employed for security. I could do with between £800-£1k a month. Part time. Thought about teaching in Further Ed (where they'll put you through a teaching qualification on the job) but I've heard it's long hours...

I have a first class marketing degree and CIM qualification and industry experience that I'm keen to put to good use but no Idea which way to go!

Any advice welcome 😅

Probably no need for a total career change. It's really difficult to recruit to marketing roles at the moment, definitely a buyers market for salary expectations and flexible working. You could probably find a part time role that suits you. Maybe continue with your clients as well?

If you wanted a change there are plenty of roles that use marketing skills such as sales, fundraising, comms & PR, events, market research, project management. It depends which branch of marketing you've been working in as to which trajectory it might take you in.
Good luck!
