Today is the day!, my interview is for 11am I'm not nervous just curious as to what questions may get asked if any as this job is a job not many like to go for. Obviously I've not long passed my safeguarding, safety and wellbeing course for children and young children so that's still fresh in mind, I just hope I do enough as I really want this job it's a step in the doorstep for me to potentially go higher in the future as a TA or nursery practitioner all given I go on more courses whilst working (if I get the job) wish me luck I'm feeling optimistic 🍀

Good luck!

Good luck! Sounds like your head is in the right place which is half the battle.

@Rainallnight thank you, I've put myself in that frame of mind, it's a step forward as I've been out of work for 11 years with wanting to be a stay at home mother but times are getting hard so I have to start somewhere, plus I get alot of joyment from young children, they are such funny characters.

Yay! Congratulations!

I'm going for an interview for the same job tomorrow. I've been a sahm for 10 yrs and also a carer for my DD. I'm really nervous. What questions were you asked?

blackoverbillsmothers · 07/11/2023 15:04

Congratulations. Hope you manage to move to be a TA if that’s what you’d like. There’s a recruitment crisis which should help and a big plus if you’re known in school. My fabulous TA used to do both. (Was given time for a lunch break in between). Good luck.

@funbags3 sorry for the late reply, you'll have had your interview I'm guessing?, questions were about how I'd keep the children safe, what would I promote on the playground, I got interviewed by the school councillors the children that was really fun and I bonded well with them, good luck if you haven't heard from your interview yet
