Does anyone have any advice on these CMI courses?
Is the diploma worth doing or is the certificate sufficient?
Do employers expect you to have these qualifications?
I am a line manager at present and keen to up skill in any way I can.
Advice appreciated

Would your employers support you and pay for the course as part of your professional development goals etc.? If so then it's well worth doing. If you'd be paying for it and trying to do it unsupported then it would be harder. It would never hurt to have CMI accredited qualification. Don't you need to do the certificate first before you can do the diploma?

No I would be paying to do it myself.

Apparently not, you can do the diploma without the certificate. I have an undergraduate degree in law so hopefully wouldn't struggle too much with assessments

I have the cmi certificated as it fitted around my family life better than the diploma. Either would have been supported by employer. I couldn't commit my time longer than 12 months due to caring responsibilities. They are well worth doing in my opinion. I would do the diploma in your situation but either are good to have.

Thanks! I have signed up to the Diploma so hopefully it's enjoyable
