I need a career change but nothing stands out

I am coming to the end of my maternity leave and the thought of returning to my job is making me so unhappy.
I work in catering and absolutely hate it. The money and hours are awful and it just doesn’t suit as a parent.
I can afford to take several years off work to train in something new, with the help and support of my husband. I just don’t know where to start.
I have never been career driven so I have no passion in a specific sector or any hobbies I could use as a starting point.
I love being a mum so I wouldn’t mind working with babies/young children, but I don’t know what qualifications would be necessary or how to gain them if anyone could please share? It may not be for me as I am socially awkward so dealing with parents may be overwhelming.
If anyone could suggest any career paths that didn’t take decades to train for that would be hugely appreciated too. Preferably something I could be flexible with in terms of school run/ school holidays when I eventually get to that stage, working from home would be even better.
Thanks!

I'm no expert but if you want to work with babies/young children and you would prefer to work from home, could you become a child minder?
