Not so flexible working

I started a new job a couple of months ago which was advertised as flexible hours. I’m a night owl and struggle to get going so I work 9:30 - 5:30. The 3 others in the team work 8 - 4 and are not happy with me starting later. Our work used to be a standard 9-5 before covid and clients expect us to be available 9 -5. Two of the team in particular keep whispering and making subtle digs about my hours but my managers happy. Should I suck it up and go in early to get on with them better?

No! If your manager is happy then it is nothing to do with anyone else.

Whilst you are starting later, youare also finishing later. If you worked the same hours as them, who would cover 4:00-500pm? Suggest to them that they can stay until 5:30 if they like, I'm sure that they will soon pipe down.

Yes - say that as you need to be available till 5, you'll swap with one of them.
