Leadership training?

I am in the civil service, unusually I am a G6 without line management responsibility, I'm a specialist currently in an advisory role. I would like to explore other G6 roles in future and eventually SCS both of which would almost certainly involve leading teams. I have done a lot of this up until now, but worry my leadership might stagnate a bit in an advisory role. I'm aware leadership is about more than line management and I do leadership in other ways in my role, but my manager has suggested I look at some formal leadership training to help me understand and draw out the leadership in my current role and for my CV more generally.

Sorry that was a lot of waffle but thought I'd set the context. Do you have any suggestions for leadership training/qualifications that may suit me based on the above?

The three options I would suggest are:
ILM https://www.i-l-m.com/learning-and-development/leadership-and-management-qualifications
CMI https://www.managers.org.uk/education-and-learning/qualifications/
IOD https://www.iod.com/

Rather than straightforward leadership training, consider Internal Consultancy courses too. A lot of roles in the CS require you to lead through influencing and persuading and the skill set for internal consultancy can be useful.

Leadership and management qualifications

ILM offers industry-recognised leadership and management qualifications for all career levels.

Are there any courses on CS learning?
