I really don’t know what specifically to search online so hopefully someone here can help: can I do exam marking while on maternity leave regardless of what industry I work in?
I ask as by the time I’m due (fingers crossed all goes well!), I’ll only have been in my job about 5 months so will only get SMP. I have exam marked before but I’ll have left teaching by then. Obviously I would love to not have to do anything to top myself up financially but just want to know my options and don’t want to do anything wrong by my new employer.
