Has anybody done this role? They seem to be constantly recruiting, it's well paid and working from home. The job description states it is mainly information gathering and report writing then submitting to a decision maker.

Sorry I just think you need to think hard before applying for this type of job. So many claimants are rejected but then get their benefits on appeal. It doesn't seem right to put vulnerable sick people through that. I wouldn't want to work for a system that did.

I haven’t done these but I’ve seen these and did a little googling. There have also been threads in a Facebook group for the profession I’m in/ really nixed reviews about either it’s great and very flexible etc to lots of ridiculous targets and having to work way more hours to meet rhese targets.

Depends if you have morals or not.

Why do you think they're constantly recruiting?

A couple of people I know who did it hated it. It nearly broke one of them.

Ps I can imagine working from home seems like the dream if you are, for example, rushed off your feet in a hospital. But it may well not be the dream you’re looking for x
