Any experience of Case Administrator in Probation Office?

Been offered this job (after applying for something else within the department l) which I am very grateful for but I’m not sure exactly what the job entails?
I’ve asked the officer who interviewed me but she’s not come back to me and don’t really want to chase her again!

Do you know who you will be a CA for? Will it be a CA for a Probation Officer?

The job description for a CA in my experience can be generic. I have been a CA for two different roles/departments in Probation. Both had virtually the same description but in practice quite different.

I’m fairly sure he said Case Administrator so didn’t specify but the office is the Probation Office?
Ive tried Googling but can’t find a specific job description.

Hi, I have a teams interview coming up for a case administrator with probation services.. I’ve been with my current employer for 14 years so haven’t had an interview in a while. I’m so nervous about it. Can anyone give me any advice on what to expect?

Good CA’s are absolutely invaluable. You might be in a community office, or in a Court Team, normally based in a Court itself. Exact duties vary by team/ local practice, but broadly, you will be expected to send letters, create records for those on probation/coming onto probation, minute take at meetings (including MAPPA) and do other admin tasks. In some offices you will be expected to initiate basic safeguarding checks/request police call out info etc. Hope this helps!
