My 1 to 1 is on Monday and part of it is talking about any training and development that I may need. For context I’m an admin worker and enjoy my role most of the time. I work part time and have enough to do without taking on any more. If I wanted development I’d change my job as opposed to developing this one.

What can I say when asked in response to this question?

Why don't you tick their box and say you've identified that you would benefit from improving your time management skills. You work part time and you want to be as productive as possible during the hours you work, so you hope to get some hints and tips to organise yourself and your priorities.

it'll probably be a minimal commitment of a day and you might learn some useful stuff from it.
