Hi,

Just wondered if there is a time frame for returning to work and falling pregenant again and still getting all your benefits ?

your materity pay etc once your back at work .. is it 24 weeks again ? or is it whenever as you ve been employed still on materity leave ?

Technically you've been continuously employed during ML so there is no minimum timeframe afaik. It may affect your SMP calculation though if you are already within the weeks used for the calculation while receiving previous SMP.

Yes LIZS is right about the pay. The time period for calculating mat pay occurs prior to the commencement of mat leave and so if you were very pregnant by the time you went back to work your SMP for the first six week of your second mat leave might be calculated using your previous SMP as the weekly wage rather than using your actual weekly wage.

You'd have to be about seven/eight months pregnant though by the time you went back from your first mat leave for this to happen.

Your employers would be really annoyed - although of course if they expressed this annoyance you could have a claim against them.
