I have 3 children 12,8 & 2.5
I work full time 5 days.
My partner works full time but nights so we are like passing ships and it means i get all kids ready take them to school nursery or drop them off to family who take them and also collect them all and do bedtime etc.
My children are good but they have high needs in different way DD is dyslexic with adhd, DS dyspraxic & youngest DS is non verbal and under investigation for autism. I have to juggle work around youngest appointments and then my oldest currently has an issue with her stomach, so she's needed doctors apps and tests. The oldest have clubs 4 nights a week .. alternate days ..
Im a manager so my job is stressful and like i literally can't do it anymore, my brains so full i can't physically remember anything i am BONE tired 😪. I can't even go to bed early as my youngest sometimes doesn't go to bed until 11pm and often wakes at 4am for the day. I keep telling my partner i'm struggling and i need help and can he swap from nights but i don't feel like he is fully understanding just how bad i am feeling.
Don't get me wrong like he does do the food shop and he takes middle DS football if i have to take DD rugby but apart from that he does zero house work and when he's up after his sleep he literally has no one in the house with him but i have to do it all with all 3 kids and ive moaned and moaned about it

like i've just paid 300 for 12 hour deep cleaning - HOW do you get through to a man that you can't constantly be the default parent and work full time 😩😩

Think you need the relationship board. My colleague on nights does the school run in the afternoon and her dh who works days does mornings.
