Does anyone here know much about Domestic Reviews?

I've worked in the Domestic abuse arena for quite a while now and am considering trying to somehow raise some money to become a Domestic Homicide reviewer. God knows how as my circumstances are dire. But I think I'd really enjoy it. Does anyone know how many hours are usually required? I've been thinking about it for a while and a few people at work have suggested it to me (usually when reading DH reviews).

I work similar and have seen these courses being advertised.
I wonder if they are a scam though.
Surely people with a background in DA don't need training to sit in a review panel? Or don't need to spend £££s to train?

They're not a scam. I read them every day. You definitely need training. You need to know how to liaise with family members who are recently bereaved, police, NHS, anyone involved. You need to know how to write the reports. You need to know the dynamics of Domestic Abuse. Etc etc. You need training.
